About Me!

Hi Everyone,

For those of you who don't know me, I have a very special superpower. I am autistic, but this doesn't stop me having fun as you can see.

This is a blog to remind me of all my fun adventures.

I hope you enjoy looking at it.

My First Music Concert - 26th November 2016

Tonight I went to Free Radio Live 2016.

My first pop music concert,

I love this radio station and listen to it every morning before school.

An early Christmas treat, here's my ticket.

Feeling very excited, but also a little bit nervous as I'm not sure what to expect.

Waiting for my turn in the Free Radio Photo Booth.

Here's my photo booth picture.

The Arena is filling up.  It's a sell out 15000 people!

The view from my seat.

Daddy and me waiting for the concert to start!

Hooray!  It's starting.

Sigala.  Opening the show.

I love it!

Little Mix next!

They were very good.

Next to perform Clean Bandit.

Anne-Marie from Clean Bandit also sang a solo.

DUA LIPA, were excellent.

Professor Green.

Professor Green made us all do the Mannequin challenge.

I danced and sang all night.

Loved the first half, cannot wait for the second half!

Which started with my favourite act of the night, Olly Murs.

Next Calum Scott, who's microphone didn't work to start with and we had to help by singing till he received a new one.

Another favourite Craig David.

Finally to finish an amazing gig,  BUSTED.

What an amazing night I really enjoyed my first pop concert, and cannot wait for the next one!

Some other stuff I have been busy with over the last few weeks.

I swam 40 lengths non stop to complete my 1000 metres.

I received a certificate for my hard work at the NASCH gala.

Helping to raise money for Children In Need Day at school.

The NASCH Swimming Championships - 5th November 2016

On Saturday I took part in the Annual NASCH Swimming Championships Gala.

Before I travelled to the swimming gala, I took part in the kids run free monthly event.  But I only ran a mile, so I didn't get too tired.

Here's the programme for my gala, taking place in Leamington Spa at the Newbold Comyn Leisure Centre.  The junior event is first and then the senior event, which I stayed to watch and support the rest of my team.

There are teams from all over the country.  I swim for Bedworth, and we join Leamington to make up region 8.

Here is my first event, 100 metre freestyle.  Everybody else in my race was quite a bit bigger and older than me, as I am competing in the under 16 category.

Before the gala each swimmer submits the time in which they expect to swim the event.  These are then used to establish the starting time of each swimmer.  This system is used so everybody can compete on equal terms and all finish the race together.I swam so fast I won the race! But I beat my entry time massively (will update with exact time when I receive it) .  You are only allowed to swim 10% quicker than your submitted time, so therefore I was re positioned in the results.  But my swimming coach is really happy with me because I smashed my PB, and I am going to be awarded a special certificate.

My next event the relay.

Guess what?...we won!  With my team mates, brother and sister. Aidan and Phoebe.

We each received a medal and we get to keep this
 trophy for a year.

My gold medal.

Here is the write up from my clubs social media page.

We finished a great day by watching some fireworks, as it is the 5th November, Guy Fawkes night.

Can you see the massive bonfire at Bedworth Miners Park? There was a big Guy Fawkes on top that has almost totally burnt now.
