About Me!

Hi Everyone,

For those of you who don't know me, I have a very special superpower. I am autistic, but this doesn't stop me having fun as you can see.

This is a blog to remind me of all my fun adventures.

I hope you enjoy looking at it.

My First Aquathlon - 7th May 2017

Today I took part in my first Aquathlon.

Registering and receiving my number, and Decathlon sponsored bag.

My number had to be written on my arm.

Here's the track.

I have set my kit up in the transition area, you can see the pool through the doors.

Ready for the safety briefing.

Feeling a little bit nervous now.

The event started at 10:00 with each swimmer going at 30 second intervals.

It's nearly my time to start.

My age category has to swim 100 metres.

Just about to enter the water.

At 10:34 I started my swim.

As we finished our swim we had to shout our name and number and run out the back doors to the transition area.

Swim finished, time to get my shirt and trainers on.

Where's my space?

This is the fastest I have ever dressed before with the clock still ticking.

Shirt on shoes on.  This is the first time I have ever run without socks on!

The man is announcing my name as I run out the transition area.

800 metres to run now, two laps of the track.

First one nearly completed.

I can see the finish line.

Hooray, I've finished.

With a  combined time of 7 mins 43 seconds.  I came 11th in the 9-10 age category.  Good  for my first ever event.

Here's my medal.

All dry and warm!

A great day.

I love my medal.

Orienteering.

I have also been taking part in some orienteering events.

Running through Hartshill Hayes.

Swiping a control and checking my map for the next one.

A great evening for running through the beautiful blue bell filled woodlands.

The results.  First place :-)

Playing Advantage Video - April 2017

A few week's ago I help make this video to show how great our Wasp's playing Advantage Club is.  It was shown to the players and other guests at the end of season awards celebrations.

I really can't believe how many views it has received :-)

Playing Advantage Wasps v Saracens - 6th May 2017

My Wasps Playing Advantage Club had a special joint training session with Saracens before we all watched the match together at the Ricoh Arena.

Ready for action.

We took part in lots of fun games.

This is my favourite part!

I told the Saracen's coaches I was going to push the training bag all the way back to London (where Saracens come from) they laughed at me!

Whack! I wish I had one of these at home.

Group talk.

As you can see the Saracen players are quite a lot bigger than us!

We played a mini fun tournament.

At the end of the session we all congratulated each other.

Then we swapped goody bag.

Giving a Wasps bag to a Saracens player.

Here's the bag he gave me.

Group picture.

I was very lucky that my coach gave me a Wasps bag too.

Here's what was in the Saracens bag.

The Wasps bag.

Then we all headed to the match.

We all sat together at the match.

The best attendance of the season so far 30,115.

What a thriller of a match it was!

Wasps 35- 15 Saracens.
Wasp's finish in first place in the premiership and play Leicester Tigers in their first home play off since 2008 the year I was born!

About two week ago after training, my friends and I got to sign this seasons shirt that gets taken on the pitch  every home match.

I chose to write under the Wasps logo.

It was very hard to write on the material.

I wrote my name age and 'great season'.

Look how big the shirt is.  It will hang in the fan village at the end of the season.

 Wasps Netball.

I also attended my second netball match verses Severn Stars.

My good luck Wasp.

Another fast exciting game, that was also showed live on Sky Sports.

Wasps won 62-46.
