About Me!

Hi Everyone,

For those of you who don't know me, I have a very special superpower. I am autistic, but this doesn't stop me having fun as you can see.

This is a blog to remind me of all my fun adventures.

I hope you enjoy looking at it.

Peak District - 20th August 2017

A Seven Mile Walk Around The Peak District.

Starting and finishing in Starkholmes, enjoying Matlock, Matlock Bath, High Tor and the Heights of Abraham.

There were lots of uphill sections

Which always means a downhill section to follow.

All sorts  of different gates to go through.

Lots of lovely views.

Old buildings.

Matlock Bath Railway station.

No trains coming, it's okay to cross.

At the top of a hill again!

Time to head down to Matlock Bath.

Matlock Bath River Gardens.

We've had a nice picnic, now to continue our adventure.

Back up the hills and into the countryside.

A quick dab, for finding the correct path!

The top of  The Heights of Abraham.

Views of Matlock.

Into and across a field of cows.

Keep up Daddy!

We are so high you can only see roof tops sticking out.

Slowly downhill again.

Back down to the River Derwent.

Back up High Tor.

Having a little rest and enjoying the views.

British Speedway Grand Prix - 22nd July 2017

Today I went to Cardiff, Wales to watch my first British Speedway Grand Prix.

Round 6 of the Championship is being held at the Principality Stadium.  If you remember, a couple of months ago I was lucky enough to complete a tour of the stadium.

Crossing the border into Wales.

Lunch at Shake Shack.  My favourite burger!

A look around the fan zone next.

Trying out a speedway bike for size!

Next a motocross bike.

The view from the top of the Monster Energy Rig.  With my free can of Monster Energy, Absolutely Zero.  Don't worry I only had a small sip - Mummy and Daddy didn't want me high on caffeine!

The view of the Fan Zone from the rig.

Here come some of the speedway riders.

GB's twice World Champion Tai Woffinden.

Here he is burning some rubber!

 Signing my Speedway star magazine.

Can you see the autographs on the front cover?

I wished him good luck for the Grand Prix.

Greg Hancock. Current and three times World Champion.

Signing my magazine.

He is from California, USA.

2012 World Champion. Australian Chris Holder.

Signing his picture in my Speedway Star.

Here it is.

Patryk Dudek, from Poland.

Before tonight's GP he is currently leading this years World Standings.

Now we have moved onto the stadium.

 I have bought my programme.

What a crowd waiting to enter the stadium.

Here we are inside.  Can you see the roof is closed?

This is my view of the track.  Can you believe they played the Champions League Final here a few weeks ago!

The fire pre show was amazing.

All the riders were introduced.

The entrance to the pits, nearly time for the first race.

Here we go - race 1.  Two of the Monster Energy team are in this first heat.  In red Tai Woffinden and yellow Greg Hancock.

Greg Hancock had to withdraw from the event injured, so this was his only ride of the night.

Getting ready for more action.

A race is over in less than a minute!

The National press are all here.

In red in this race GB's Wild Card entry Craig Cook.

Tai Woffinden says thank you to the crowd for their support - as he fails to reach the semi finals.

Ready for the final race.

The Winner is:

The rostrum:  First place went to Poland's Maciej Janowski (Magic as he is known),
Second place was Australian Jason Doyle,
and Third place was Matej Zagar from Slovenia.

Jason Doyle now leads the World Championship standings, with six races still to go.

Everybody wants a photograph of the winners.

The Polish supporters we were sat with were all very happy!

Here's "Magic', the British GP Champion.

Jason Doyle the new leader of the World Standings.

None of the 45,000 plus  crowd has gone home.  It's now time for the fireworks finale.

Time to open the roof!

I loved my first British Speedway Grand Prix.
