About Me!

Hi Everyone,

For those of you who don't know me, I have a very special superpower. I am autistic, but this doesn't stop me having fun as you can see.

This is a blog to remind me of all my fun adventures.

I hope you enjoy looking at it.

Playing Advantage One Year Anniversary And My Sporting Successes - 21st January 2018.

Here are some of my sporting achievements and fun for January.

Being awarded my silver t shirt at Kids Run Free.

Finishing my fourth Bedworth 5km run.  I didn't beat my PB today as it was very icy.  But I was still very close.

 Wasps v Saracens - 7th Jan18.

Playing ball darts in the fan zone before the match.

Ready for the match to begin.  I have so many layers of clothes on I cannot move!

Unfortunately we lost 15 - 38.  We have a lot of players out with injuries at the moment.

Bedworth - Kay Clarke Memorial Gala.

My gala from last year that had to be  cancelled finally took place.

I won all three of my races - winning three gold medals.

22.57 seconds  in my 25m front stroke race, beating my PB.  My time also beat all the other age groups, youth, senior, and masters.

27.01 seconds in 25m back stroke, beating my PB.  Again my time beating all the older swimmers.
My third gold medal is from the team relay.

My Wasps Playing Advantage Club celebrated our first years Anniversary with some special guests.

Meet 'Oakley' first my new school teddy bear, we are going to have lots of adventures together.

Here we all are together posing for a press photograph.

This is Gabiriele Lovobalavu, first team player.

Posing with Marcus Garratt, another first team player.

Here's some more of our inspiring special guests, and now ambassadors for Wasps Community.
(From left to right).
Three-times GB wheelchair rugby Paralympian Mandip Sehmi.
GB wheelchair Paralympic sprinter Kare Adenegan,
England deaf rugby team captain Luke Cheyne, and
GB wheelchair basketball star Charlotte Moore.

Posing for another press photograph.

After our special Anniversary training session we all went on to the Ricoh Arena to watch Wasps v Ulster

Some time in the Fan Village pre-match.

I have my Wasp face paint, and I'm now ready.

Look who I've found fly half Jimmy Gopperth.  He has been out with injury, but he said he should be back really soon!

The Wasp netball players are teaching the rugby players how to score goals.  They did okay!

Now it's my turn.  In first time!

With Georgina Fisher, Wasps netball GA/GS.

She timed how many catches I could do in thirty seconds.

I wished her good luck for the new season.

Fran Williams, Wasps netball GD/GK.

With the league trophy they won last season.

Just time to test my reaction speeds before the match.

Ready for the match.  Final score Wasps 26 - Ulster 7.

 Finally.

Saying goodbye to my big trophy.  My year as Nuneaton and Bedworth Disability Sports Personality of the year 2016/17, has come to an end.
