Decorating My Easter Egg - 22nd March 2015

Today I decorated an egg for my school Easter fair.

Putting my egg carefully into cold water.

Watching the egg boil and go hard.

Painting another egg shell.

Can you guess what I'm making?

Lots of coats of paint.

Carefully painting some shapes on a piece of cardboard.

Once the egg shell was dry I put it into a sealed bag.

My favourite bit.

Making sure the shell is cracked into lots of tiny pieces.

Back to my hard boiled egg.  Covering it with lots of glue.

Then tipping the broken egg shell over the glue.

Making sure it's all covered.

Sticking on the eyes and mouth.

Next the fins.  Can you tell what it is yet?

On Monday morning before school I added the final touches.

Some white stripes.

Here's my finished Nemo.

What do you think?

Guess what.......

I won first prize :-)

Red Nose Day And My Week - 13th March 2015

Today is 'Red Nose Day' which is a day of events and activities organized to raise money for the charity Comic Relief.  Who help people in the UK and across Africa have happier lives.

Here's me dressed up ready to go to school.

We chose to decorate our faces to raise money.

Red noses are sold by the charity to help raise money too.  But I really found the smell of the plastic too much to wear it for long.

Last Friday at my swimming club I swam 100 metres.

Here's the update that was on the web site and Facebook page this week.

I collected my certificate and badge tonight.

I am very proud.

Here is another of my dances from my Thursday Tiger Feet group.

World Book Day And More Tiger Feet - 5th March 2015

Today is World Book Day, celebrating books and reading.

My class celebrated by reading and dressing up like characters from the book
'We're going on a bear hunt'.

Here's me dressed as an explorer.  Watch out bears!

Lots of people enjoyed my last dance video, so here's another one from tonight's class.
