About Me!

Hi Everyone,

For those of you who don't know me, I have a very special superpower. I am autistic, but this doesn't stop me having fun as you can see.

This is a blog to remind me of all my fun adventures.

I hope you enjoy looking at it.

Centre Parcs Woburn - August 2019

We went to Centre Parcs in Woburn for a long weekend 16th-19th August 2019.

Let the fun begin!

Here's our home for the weekend.
Birch Area - House 565.

The lounge.

The kitchen.

Mummy and Daddy's room.

My room.

Making myself at home.

My favourite characters Timon and Pumbaa drawn on our home chalk board.

We have visitors.

Hello Mr Squirrel.

Time to explore and go in the massive amazing Subtropical Swimming Paradise.

I spent a lot of time in here every day.

Where are my sun glasses?  It's way too bright for my eyes!

Behind us is my favourite part of the pool area it goes outside and is called the Wild Water Rapids.

This is the beach area where all the boating activities are and the pancake restaurant behind us.

The play areas here are fantastic too.

Practice for tomorrows Aerial Tree Trekking.

Putting on our safety equipment ready for Aerial Tree Trekking.

All set.

Ready for our safety briefing.

Let's get hooked on and start.

Slowly at first to get my balance.

Going for it now.

I'm enjoying this obstacle.

The rope bridge.

Mummy helping me on the zip wire.

Time for some Geocaching.  Even though it was raining we explored all over the whole Parc.

Guess what we won.  Here's our prize!

We celebrated with Pancakes and Ice Cream.

Enjoying our bowling reward.

I really enjoy bowling.

No time to rest.  It's Street Karting time.

Getting used to the kart.

Here goes a timed lap.

How fast was that?

That was fun!

Mini golf.

Waiting my turn.

Do I look like a fairy sat on a toadstool?

I love all the decorations around the course.

A wooden squirrel.

My favourite a beaver.

I'll just have a little rest.

The next hole is through here.

Wow - what an amazing wood sculpture.

Lots of wooden animals.

This is a tricky shot.

Who lives here?

A fairy door or maybe Winnie the Poohs door?

Just time for some Aqua Jetting before having to travel home.

My reward badges for my activities.

Benidorm Spain - 2nd-6th August 2019.

We are really lucky to have some Easy Jet flights to use and try and fit into our busy schedule.  We chose to fly to Alicante in Spain and stay just down the road in the famous Spanish resort of Benidorm for a long weekend in the sun.

Enjoying a quick dinner at Luton Airport before my flight to Alicante.

Can you see my sunflower lanyard ?  It helps people to recognise that I am autistic and it gets me through the airport queues quicker than normal.

On board our Easy jet A320 ready to depart.

Just over 2 hours later we are ready to get into our hire car and drive to Benidorm.

Hotel Melia Benidorm.

Look at the view from our balcony I cannot wait to swim in the pools.

You can just about see the sea through the buildings.

Here's our hotel room.

My bed.

Exploring around the hotel reception.

Our room is in the block on the right.

Time to relax by the pool.

WiFi and swimming my two favourite things.

Come on in - the waters lovely.

Time for a walk and an explore of Benidorm.

Just a 10 minute walk down the main road is the beach.

A quick paddle in the Mediterranean Sea.

It was quite warm.

Everything down here is very colourful and there are lots of shops and restaurants.

Ice cream time.

Welcome to Benidorm.

My hotel in the background behind me and the Red Lion pub, one of the many places showing football and other sports all day.  I love this!

But this is where I spent most of my holiday.

The only time I was really out of the pool was meal times, there was always a big buffet to choose from.

After dinner some nights we played in the arcade.

Time to head for the airport and fly home.

Goodbye Benidorm.

I have really enjoyed my time here.

Alicante Airport time to fly home.

Back in the UK.  I think you can see by the colour of the sky and all the clouds.

Home sweet home.  Happy to be back in my comfy bed.

I've had a fantastic long weekend in Benidorm.
