I have been begging Mummy and Daddy for the last few days to do the Ice Bucket challenge and today I got to finally do it. Enjoy!
I have donated with my own money.
Remember Nominees - You have 48Hrs to complete the challenge :-)
I loved all the amusements. |
Hooray I won! |
But I put my winnings back in again. |
Look at all these lovely yummy foods. |
Ice cream is my favourite. |
We sat and looked out to sea whilst eating it. |
It was very very windy. (If you look closely I have written my name and Skegness 2014 in the sand) |
Can you see the wind farm out to sea? |
I love a donkey ride! |
This one was very naughty and kept moving the cone. |
His name was 'Ripley'. |
Stop moving the cone 'Ripley' |
We won the donkey derby. |
Ripley and me. |
Skegness Pier. |
Enjoying the view. |
I can see for miles. |
Running down the pier. |
We had a look at the RNLI lifeboats and station. |
Here I am looking from the viewing platform. |
Here's our tickets and programme. |
On the way to our seats. |
Look at that big TV. |
Here's our view. |
I was so excited. |
I hope I get to be on the BBC. |
Pole vault was my favourite, it was so funny!
|
Can you see Christine Ohuruogu in the 400m? |
David Rudisha (in black) in the 600m. |
David winning easily. |
David Rudisha waving on his victory lap. |
There were events going on in all directions. |
100m they were so fast out off the blocks. |
Lynsey Sharp in the 800m. |
Eilidh Child in the 400m Hurdles. One athlete hit the hurdle and fell over right in front of us. |
Here's the 200m about to start. We had to be very quiet whilst the race started so the athletes could hear the starting gun. |
The Steeplechase. I loved it when they splashed through the water on the bend. |
Can you see Greg Rutherford, getting ready for the long jump? |
Watching the field events.
|
Mo Farah after his record breaking run, breaking the British 2 mile record by almost 6 seconds. A record that has stood for nearly 36 years. |
Mo being interviewed on the BBC. |
We watched some of the IPC Athletics too. There was some amazing people. Just below us blind athletes were completing in the long jump. A guide was telling them when to run and when to jump. |
I had a really fun day. |
Here's my train from Nuneaton to London. |
Will.i.am (Yes Really!) |
This is the clock and globe used in the 1980's BBC 1 ident. |
Looking directly over the central newsroom. (this is the biggest newsroom in Europe) |
Can you see into the news studio on the right? |
The One Show Studio. |
Mummy and me playing table tennis. (The One Show studio is behind the glass windows on the right) |
In the Apple store Regent Street. We also went to Hamley's across the road. |
We walked down to Leicester Square for lunch. |
Five Guys are the best! |
Going by train over the River Thames on Hungerford Bridge. |
Pretending to be a sailor in front of the newly refurbished Cutty Sark Tea Clipper. |
The Cutty Sark. |
At Greenwich, we walked up the big hill to The Royal Observatory. |
What a great view of the City! |
Greenwich clock with standard measurements.Standard lengths on the wall – 1 yard (3 feet), 2 feet, 1 foot, 6 inches (1/2 foot), and 3 inches. The separation of the inside faces of the marks is exact at an ambient temperature of 60 °F (16 °C) and a rod of the correct measure, resting on the pins, will fit snugly between them (This clock is strange because it is an analogue 24 hour clock!) |
Enjoying the view and thinking about my day. |
What a pretty bench. |
You can see the whole of London :-) |
My sign. |
Driving the Docklands Light Railway. On the way back home. |
My new hat ready for the winter. |
