Today my Playing Advantage Wasps Rugby group have been invited by London Irish RFC to a tag rugby festival and to be guard of honour at the match afterwards.
We set off from the Ricoh Arena at 07:20 in the morning on our way to the Madjeski Stadium, Reading. |
We have arrived and are getting ready in the indoor training dome behind the Madjeski Stadium. |
Warming up. |
Some fun games. |
Then we were welcomed to the festival and met all the other teams. There are teams from Saracens, Worcester, Castle, Bath and London Irish. |
We were also told who we were going to play. |
The schedule for today. |
We are all very excited! |
Ready for our first match. |
Against the Worcester Warriors first. |
Look how big the training dome is! |
We had lots of fun. |
Talking tactics for our next game against London Irish. |
Well done everyone! |

Time to meet some of the London Irish Players. |
I told them I hope they don't get relegated because they are bottom of the league. |
They thought I was very funny and said thank you to me. |
Here is my autographs. |
Time to head across to the main stadium now. |
Celebrating with the League trophy we hope Wasps win. |
Inside the Madjeski Stadium. Capacity 24,161. Home to Reading FC (currently in the Championship) and London Irish RFC. I am so excited I am going to get to go on the pitch. |
We were all given our flags to wave in the guard of honour. |
Can you see us forming the Guard of Honour ready for the players to run through? We were on BT sport. |
London Irish v Worcester Warriors. Final result 22 - 9. |
Enjoying the match, with all my Playing Advantage friends. |
