Easter Fun And Sports - April 2019

 Some of the fun I enjoyed over the Easter holidays.

Rushton Lakes Northamptonshire.

I enjoyed a walk and a play in the playground.

I am in a giant birds nest.

 Whilst in Northampton, we ticked off another of my 92.

A visit to Northampton Town FC.

Sixfields Stadium.

The PTS Academy Stadium.

I was very lucky that whilst I was purchasing my normal pin I collect from each stadium I visit the press officer asked if I would like to have a look pitch side.

Capacity: 7,798.

Of course back in 2013/14 Coventry City used this stadium when they were homeless.

Ericsson Indoor Arena, Ricoh Arena.

Ready for the first match.

Wasps v Surrey Storm.

Wasps played really well.

Lots of changes were made to the team and players rested.

Wasps win.

Final score 76 - 42.

Attendance: 829.

 Next match.

 Saracens Mavericks v Celtic Dragons.

Final score 55 - 50.  A much closer game.

Sunday 21th April 2019.

First an Easter Egg hunt.

Wow!  I have a lot of chocolate.

Then back to the Ricoh for the second day of the netball weekend.

Wasps Netball v Celtic Dragons first match.

Wasps win

Attendance: 927.

In between match entertainment with Sting.

Then some Whigfield Saturday night.

I loved going on the court.

Stars won 51 - 46.

Team Bath v Saracens Mavericks.

45 - 51 Saracens win.

Easter Monday (22nd April 2019).

Another Away Coventry City match.

Portsmouth v CCFC at Fratton Park.

It's a shame we lost, but I've still had a great day.

Playing some demo tag rugby in the fan village before the match with some of my Playing Advantage team.

Helping to collect donations for our Playing Advantage trip to Belfast to play in the Wooden Spoon Tag Rugby Festival.

Sting and I are now ready for the match.

Look at all  my special gifts.

Today is also CCFC legend Steve Ogrizovic's last match before he retires after 35 years of service to CCFC.  16 years as a player and 19 as a coach.  The players formed a guard of honour before the match and there were lots of special celebrations throughout the match for him.
