Day 4 - A bit of sight seeing today followed by a nice walk around the park!
Every morning when I am in America, I love watching the Today Show. The morning programme is transmitted from the NBC studio here at the Rockefeller Center.

Inside the Rockefeller Center. |
In the winter there is normally a big ice skating rink behind me here in Rockefeller Plaza. |
I just love Times Square. |
Here's a clue where we are going next. |
Grand Central station, with the Chrysler building in the background. |
Opened in 1871, it is still one of the busiest and largest stations in the world. |
Look at the size of that flag! |
There are 44 platforms, so many trains to see! |
Looking at all the lovely art work and architecture. |
The famous clock and information counter. |
So many timetables! |
A little rest in Bryant Park, behind the Public Library. |
Then another explore of the many sights and sounds of Manhattan. |
Don't worry the road is just closed for a street market. |
Time to explore Central Park. |
How did you get up there Mummy? |
There were so many things to climb, explore, and great views to see. |
Time to play in one of the many playgrounds. |
My favourite activity swinging. |
I really enjoyed the model boating lake. |
I loved looking at this Alice and Wonderland sculpture. But it was very hot to touch! |
This park is massive! |
Next we watched the turtles, on Turtle pond. |
Belvedere Castle. |
Looking out over the turtle pond. |
Vista Rock the highest point in the park and a great viewing area. |
Shakespeare gardens. |
No time to rest Mummy and Daddy! |
There's more exploring to be done. |
Bow bridge, a cast iron bridge used in many films. |
Peace and quiet over, time to head back into the City for more adventures. |
