About Me!

Hi Everyone,

For those of you who don't know me, I have a very special superpower. I am autistic, but this doesn't stop me having fun as you can see.

This is a blog to remind me of all my fun adventures.

I hope you enjoy looking at it.

NASA Kennedy Space Center - 26th August 2016

After a few days relaxing we went for a day out at Kennedy Space Center.

I'm so excited to look around here.  The only place where man left Earth to explore the moon.

Look at all those old rockets behind me, from the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo missions.

The home of Space shuttle Atlantis.

Wow, a real space shuttle. The actual Atlantis - The Last Shuttle to Fly

Our family selfie!

I cannot believe I can actually stand next to a real shuttle.

Space shuttle Atlantis, still with every scar and scratch from her 126 million miles of space travel.

Awesome!

I wish I could have seen her launch.

My mummy and Daddy had seen the shuttle Discovery launch twice.

I'd love to fly this!

Entering a mock up of the International Space Station.

I pretended I was weightless and floating around!

This slide makes you feel like your landing like a space shuttle.  Steeped at a 22 degree angle the same angel as a shuttle followed as it made it's final approach to Earth.  It was great fun!

So many exhibits to look at and touch.

Astronaut training simulators.

I passed!  Astronaut William.

Next we went on a bus tour, viewing launch pads and the vehicle assembly building.
This is going to be the launch site for the new Orion spacecraft which is planned to take us further into space and eventually to Mars, the first launch is not planned until 2023.

The Vehicle Assembly Building.

Time to get off the bus and explore the Apollo/Saturn V center.

In here we got to watch a reconstruction of an Apollo launch.  All of the equipment is from the original launch.

The largest rocket ever flown - The Saturn V.

Service Module.

Command Module.

I've just watched a great film about landing on the moon for the first time.

My favourite dog Snoopy, helped the space programme in 1969 by giving his name to Apollo 10.  The Snoopy lunar module and the Charlie Brown command module.

Time to go in the souvenir shop.

Mummy and Daddy bought me this sticker, among other things from the shop.

The famous count down clock installed in 1969 for the Apollo missions, and used for over 40 years.

I've seen some really amazing things today,  I love Space.

Next along the coast to Cocoa Beach.

World famous Ron Jon surf shop!

What do you think?
