About Me!

Hi Everyone,

For those of you who don't know me, I have a very special superpower. I am autistic, but this doesn't stop me having fun as you can see.

This is a blog to remind me of all my fun adventures.

I hope you enjoy looking at it.

My Florida Holiday 24th May - 8th June 2017 Part 1 - Disney's Art Of Animation Resort

Today I flew on holiday from Manchester Airport, UK to Orlando Florida USA.

We flew Thomas Cook and the flight took 9 hours and 5 minutes.

We collected our rental car and drove (only joking I'm not quite old enough to drive yet!) to Disney's Art of Animation Resort.

This is the second time we have stayed at this resort, the last time was in November 2013.

We are staying in a suite in the Cars block.

This is our home for the next two weeks.

The suite is all themed to the Cars movie.  The table has a map of route 66, there are cone lights leather cars seats, and amazing cars pictures on the walls.

This is my tool box draws and wardrobe.

This table pulls down to reveal my Mater bed.

Mummy and Daddy's bed is boring compared to mine.

We have two bathrooms.

How great is this shower curtain?

Luigi and Guido are right outside our door.

Wheel Well Motel, with Lightening McQueen and Sally.

Sally's Cozy Cone Motel (just like from the movie) is the entrance to our blocks swimming pool.

Here's our Cars themed pool.

Relaxing in our Cozy Cone.

Just Chilling!

Ramone watches over Route 66.

There are 3 other areas at our resort: Lion King, Nemo and Little Mermaid.

Here's the Lion King block.

There are things to climb and explore in every themed block.

Here's Zazu.

This is the Nemo block the sea gulls squawk every 15 minutes 'mine mine mine'!

Here's Mr Ray's block.

The Nemo block also has an amazing swimming pool.

Look how big it is, it has underwater music speakers!

This is the Nemo splash area.

 A Jellyfish waterfall.

Anybody for pool basketball.

We have the same teeth :-).

This is the guest services hall, where you can learn to draw characters.

Here's the big food hall.

Look how great our resort looks at night.

The shop, food hall and arcade are in here.

Sheriff.

Doc Hudson.

Ramone.

Flo.

Mater.

Sarge.

Lightening McQueen and Sally.

Fillmore.

Luigi and Guido.

Cozy Cone pool.

Over the other side of hourglass lake is Disney's Pop Century resort.

Just a little walk over this bridge.

The Pop Century Resort.

Every block is themed to a 20th century decade in history.  My favourite is the 1970's, look at this giant table football.
