My Adventures in Disney's Animal Kingdom, and my experiences of the new land Pandora The World Of Avatar.
The Animal Kingdom is a place to explore and learn about the world around us, and try and do our bit for conservation to save our planet.
Welcome to Disney's Animal Kingdom. |
The famous Tree of Life. The iconic centrepiece of the park. |
Can you see all the animals and birds carved into the trunk of the tree? |
Pandora The World Of Avatar.
Inspired by the film Avatar. Officially opened on the 27th May 2017.
A world featuring floating mountains, flying banshees, and bioluminescent Wonder (the production and emission of light by a living animals or plants).
The Valley of Mo'ara and its floating mountains.
This land took six years to build and cost approx half a billion US dollars. |
You can interact with the plants and there are drums and other amazing things to be discovered everywhere.
The landscaping consists of real Earth plant species mixed with sculpted Pandora plants and flowers.
|
I love bridges. |
I hope that mountain doesn't fall on my head! |
Hurry up and take the picture please, it's very very hot! |
Here's our family poses! |
Look a Banshee! |
The amazing bioluminesce wonder of Pandora is created through a combination of colour lighting, Fibre optics, and black light effects.
|
Each alien plant has it's own hidden control box to create the necessary amount of illumination in bioluminesce after dark. Na'vi River Journey Ride. |
Time to head to another area of the park. |
Let's head to Africa. |
