Coventry City FC League Two Play Off Finals Wembley - 28th May 2018

Today I travelled down to Wembley Stadium. To watch Coventry City and Exeter City play in the final of the League Two play offs. 

The prize for the winner? 

Promotion to League One!

I'm all ready.  I have my half scarf, special shirt and ticket.

Off we go.

The famous arch.  We have arrived.  I have my programme, I'm all set.

Here's Vic Minett from BBC Coventry and Warwickshire.   I have been listening to her all the way down in the car again.  After her interview she chatted to me and gave me a hug.

Here's Wembley bear taking in all the atmosphere with me.  If you remember I bought him last time Coventry City were at Wembley for the Checkatrade final.

Almost ready. The team lists are on the big screens.

The stadium is full all the way to the top.  I'm nervous.

Here we go.

An average first half 0-0.

But a much better second half.
Goals: Willis (48'), Shipley (55'), Grimmer (68')Exeter did pull one back in the final minutes through Kyle Edwards (89'), but it would only be a consolation goal.
We won 3-1.

Let the celebrations begin!
