About Me!

Hi Everyone,

For those of you who don't know me, I have a very special superpower. I am autistic, but this doesn't stop me having fun as you can see.

This is a blog to remind me of all my fun adventures.

I hope you enjoy looking at it.

Monday 28th October - Daytona Speedway and Beach!

I have had THE most AMAZING DAY EVER!

Today I was lucky enough to be taken to the Daytona Motor Racing Speedway.  Home of the American racing series NASCAR!
As you all know I love transportation but I especially love NASCAR.  It has been my dream to visit Daytona and today my dream came true.  We took a tour which brought us onto the track itself.  The bends are so steeply banked.  The tour guide said then if you were going any slower than 70MPH you would just slide down to the bottom.  NASCAR racers take the turns at 190MPH!!!!  I got to have my photo taken on the podium on Victory Lane where Jimmie Johnson stood a few months ago after winning the Daytona 500 in his number 48 NASCAR.  When a driver wins the Daytona 500 the car is kept at the track for the following year to be displayed for all to see.  I got to see this years wining car and it even bears my favourite number...48!

We then carried on a couple of miles to the famous Daytona Beach.  The beach actually has a road down it that anybody can drive down.

Wow...I hope you like the photos.  I am off to bed...I've got so much to dream about!
